A’dora Willis of Suitland, Maryland, is a 20-year-old nursing major at Bowie State University. In addition to her academic aspirations, Willis has keen interests in and attachments to youth development and progression. She authored her first children’s book “He and Me: Little Nuggets for Bright Futures” in February 2018, that inspires young children to adopt more productive life skills. In the future, Willis intends to continue writing books for the youth, to promote stronger academic comprehension, a healthier sense of family, and a fun-loving attitude towards learning.
A’dora Willis is an aspiring nurse, currently attending Bowie State University, in Bowie, Maryland. At the age of nine, Willis was introduced to the writing field through the nonprofit, after school organization, DC Scores. Primarily, she began writing poetry with the program. As a result, Willis has been granted multiple opportunities to perform on platforms across the DMV area. In addition to a nursing career, Willis plans to simultaneously manage a fruitful writing occupation, that stimulates excellence and positivity in young children.
